When I wrote WHEREVER THE STARS CALL, my main focus was the friendship between Laurel & Juniper. At the time, it felt like there wasn't enough friendship stories, & I wanted to change that.

But now they're in a bundle with a bunch of friendship stories! 🚀 37 books for $35!

This is art from 2023 of Morgan from Hymn of Memory, but I have it as a little pin stuck to my bulletin board at work and it always makes me smile.

I'm still really proud of Hymn of Memory in general as my first self published work! You should check it out! 🌻

Indie TTRPG publishers; here is another absurdly huge font bundle to consider picking up for your personal collection. They tend to give you a lot of potential value for your buck, and are clearly licensed for commercial use.

Libraries purchase books. When you see a book at the library, it isn’t “free”

the library bought it.

which in turn means that the community bought it.

In other words, library books are not lost sales for authors and publishers; they’re positive sales. Active sales. Those are bought.

Wow, what an experience!

This is a fantastic short mystery game with a great concept and even better execution. I still have chills after finishing it for the first time and will definitely be replaying!
When Stephen Hester died, his grave was already occupied.

Leaftaker is a short deduction game in the vein of Type Help and The Roottrees are Dead. Search the internet, call some people, and maybe uncover something even deeper.

“When they rob us of art and emotion, that leads us towards the aesthetics of fascism. In this film, all the sets are real, the decor is human-sized, there are painstakingly created miniatures... It’s there to remind us that art is not only necessary, it is urgent. And AI can go fuck itself!”

I really like my university and all my classes so far this year but I'm definitely feeling the weight of not having time for my own writing... I've barely been able to do any ttrpg writing (and haven't had time to work on the Faust series for ages) since I started and I'm Sad about it.

This. I have found so many amazing books because of posts and authors I interact with here.

I want to find diverse speculative fiction. I want to find people who love the same things I do so we can geek out together. I want to hear about the books y'all are reading to share joy.
The thing I want most from social media is for people to share things that I might want to read or watch that otherwise I wouldn’t read or watch, whether news, commentary, books, movies, tv, games to play, whatever. Bluesky does this. /4
