On that note, I think one of the most dangerous things the state can do to itself is test the limits of itself as the monopoly on violence, which is essentially what it's currently doing
It’s not that *nobody* on the right understands that social trust is a thing—but those that do, believe that it’s a thing only Nordic countries have, & only because they’re ethnically homogeneous. They assumed that white Minnesotans would identify with our white occupiers, not our diverse neighbors.
If the admin's strategic goal was to break public resistance to immigration enforcement activities, it was a tactical mistake to go to the Twin Cities.
