I am interested in how people advocate for a shift away from car-centric infrastructure. I write about design, UX and stories of freedom of movement from a genre and literacy studies foundation.

Something I wish got challenged more often in this “men in crisis” discourse is the blithe assumption (or sometimes outright assertion!) that everyone’s boss is a woman now. “Women now dominate white collar work and corporate management roles.” No they don’t. That just isn’t true.

In her final thesis, she focused on fashionable and performative forms of expression in forward-looking urban design and the move away from cars.

The cycle path and the car dress as well as the frustration boxer were also part of her project.

We need videos from optical gas imaging cameras for CO₂ emissions.
What you see without an OGI camera vs what you see with an OGI camera.

What you are seeing in a plume of methane and VOCs.

You can see how it is so easy for them to ignore the ongoing systemic methane pollution.

Jeez.
One of America’s most affordable paths to homeownership is slipping away.

Rents are rapidly rising at trailer parks, or mobile home parks, due to large-scale buyouts by private equity firms. A poverty law attorney explains: buff.ly/QHpnb1G
Private equity firms are snapping up mobile home parks − and driving out the residents who can least afford to lose them
For residents who can’t afford to move, rising lot rents can mean losing everything.

I love my current book stacks—love more looking through another person’s stack; mine are in each room in my home. A reminder in passing, of work/reading waiting while I migrate from room to room.
I was asked to write a piece about different genres/formats of “gathering” — the bookstack itself being one such example! This’ll be a fun collection to work through :)
