This implies that some people are under the impression that ai has the creativity to do the things our wonderful Minneapolis community does

and I find that disrespectful
Seen some people suggesting the new shooting video is AI because you can see a dinosaur in the background at one point. But, uh, there’s just a dinosaur on a car on that street. Here’s Google Street View.

Welcome to Minnesota, fuckers. Also this is super disturbing because the ICE agent's assault rifle appears to fire as he falls down.

This was filmed by a friend near Chicago and Lake last night.

There are heroes all over Minneapolis and they aren't carrying guns. This women has the vibes.
Listen to how these ICE agents talk. Complete fucking cowards. The ONLY reason these crybabies have power is because they've been granted that power by the State. Please recognize that there's a fundamental rot at the heart of a government that would grant & give this power full immunity.

Polis just really wants to make sure his future in Democratic politics is absolutely dead, doesnt he
Gov. Polis tells CBS that Tina Peters' sentence is "harsh" and he's considering clemency for her. Peters, sentenced to 9 years on 4 felonies, has never disavowed her role as county clerk to breach her own election system to prove Trump's lie that he won 2020.

The friends we have are the best. Everyone in our group chats is coordinating or showing up.
One of my best friends took the day off work to monitor ICE activity near schools in Minneapolis. Get yourself a friend like this

The world feels rough right now

So please enjoy this shrimp, filmed off Cozumel, Mexico. It may be a larval reef shrimp, but we don’t know what species or how long it lives or what it eats. The world is still full of wonder and beauty and mystery.

The fact that Boebert has to actually do her job is pretty telling in this moment. Of course, it could have been avoided by not supporting Trump in the first place...
NEW: House will vote shortly on whether to override President Trump's veto of a clean drinking water project in Colorado. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R) is outlining Trump's support of the project prior to her call to release the Epstein files and his feud with Colorado over Tina Peters

Border Patrol agents continue to make arrests outside the Whipple building near Minneapolis where protesters have gathered. Didn't see the entire event, but I saw this woman yelling at agents after they made an arrest of someone near her before they arrested and dragged her away.

Some epic weevils in Costa Rica. Huge with bold colors. These were almost an inch long. I love how weird these are with antennae at the very end of the long snout. Cute and alien at the same time. They are harmless to humans generally; some species will chomp on your garden veggies. #invertebrates

This is Renee Good.

She was a mother of a six-year-old child.

She was an American citizen.

She described herself as a “poet and writer and wife and mom and shitty guitar strummer from Colorado.”

And she was gunned down in cold blood and broad daylight by Trump’s ICE agents.

Renee Nicole Good is the one whose reputation should be protected, whose death should be marked by flags across the country being lowered to half-staff, who should be getting tearful tributes and acknowledgments from politicians and media figures. These are the people we ought to honor.

I don't care if she didn't follow directions; I don't care if she was disrespectful; I don't care if she was noncompliant; I don't care if she spit in his face, called him ugly, and smacked his mom - "immediate execution by the state" was not warranted; jfc, this isn't complicated.
losing my mind at the "she should have followed directions" people

really? really? you're cool with "if you don't follow directions, they get to kill you"? that seems like a good state of affairs to you? that seems like how law enforcement ought to work: instant obeisance or death?

If you have any funds to spare and want to help Minneapolis right now, getting dash cams to observers is crucially important and especially after today
ICE observers in the Twin Cities are in need of dash cams to prevent further intimidation and frivolous claims.

Cams are $110, memory cards $35, and ship to us directly via this wish list: www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/...

If you've been looking for a way to help, we'd sure appreciate it!
