If the administration wants to join the attack against Iran, it should make its case to Congress and request an AUMF. There is no imminent threat of the kind that would justify bypassing Congress.
The tanker movements, the tweets, now this… I don’t know if Trump has made the decision to go to war against Iran, but I am increasingly concerned.

There is no nuclear weapons program. Fetterman’s pals in the Trump administration - including DNI Gabbard - have confirmed there is no nuclear weapons program.

Fetterman is lying. Openly. Demonstrably. Shamelessly.

The White House X account was of course trolling, and provoking outraged responses like this is part of their goal. But there’s no contradiction in an act being trollish and unambiguously serious in its fascist intent and effect... latest @theintercept.com theintercept.com/2025/02/19/d...

🚨⚡️ @citizensadvice.bsky.social has found that the owners of UK energy infrastructure have pocketed nearly £4 BILLION in profits from household bills — after Ofgem miscalculated costs.

A windfall paid for by consumers.

Private energy companies continue to profit in the midst of crisis.
Companies behind Great Britain’s gas pipes and power lines pocketed £3.9bn "excess profits” over the past four years after Ofgem misjudged their costs.

Will we get a refund - no chance.

Ofgem doesn't protect people.

1. Nuclear weapons removed from Ukraine in the mid-1990s belonged to the Soviet Union and were all returned to Russia.

2. US nonstrategic nuclear weapons require costly and specialized training, security, and certified aircraft. You can't just fly them into a country and create instant deterrence.
“Several officials even suggested that Mr. Biden could return nuclear weapons to Ukraine”
