What do we mean when we say "tax the super rich"? Well, we’re not talking about the guy down the road that does his weekly shop in Waitrose.

Unless, he also have over £10 million in assets. But he probably doesn't because that’s just 0.04% of the UK population.

Corrupt sex pest Cuomo ran his campaign with lies and Islamophobia. Good riddance.

We must not forget how the super rich will throw tens of millions against any socialist candidates to deny ordinary people a fairer world & a better life.

Their greed & extreme wealth is incompatible with democracy.
Cuomo: Congratulations to Zohran Mamdani

Crowd: Boooooo

Cuomo: No, no… That is not right and that is not us. Tonight was their night.

Private rent in UK now swallows 44% of the average wage.

Monthly cost jumps to record £1,385 outside London, £2,736 in the capital.

Lack of social and affordable housing, no rent controls, as govts appease corporations and the rich.

Profiteering creating poverty/despair, stifling economic growth.

More from us on the latest report of tax cuts for Big Pharma whilst they overcharge the NHS for medicines.

👇
🚨BREAKING🚨

💊 GSK lobbied for a juicy tax break, pocketed £3.4bn, then ghosted on UK investments.

It's time to end the "Patent Box" tax break scheme, gifting billions to Big Pharma.

Big Pharma take UK tax breaks whilst not allowing drugs on the NHS.
In this year's Budget, we're told every penny counts. Yet we've found the UK has given one pharma company a £3.4 billion tax cut on profits of patented drugs, including some too expensive for the NHS, while it still cut UK jobs. How did this happen, and why did no-one notice?🧵

The majority of the UK’s richest are happy to live here & pay their taxes.

But what about the greedy few that use the UK to get rich, then bail when it's time to pay their dues?

The UK needs a settling up tax, just like 🇺🇸 🇫🇷 🇩🇪 🇳🇱 🇨🇦 🇦🇺 🇪🇸 🇮🇹 🇳🇴 🇯🇵.
