It's also EXTREMELY TELLING that the first instinct for use of AI is to try and replace the things that make life worth living, not to make the boring work easier.
Personally, I don’t think that AI slop can or will replace art and writing.
I DO think that depraved tech lords are going to force us to spend at least a decade (or more) *proving* that AI can’t do this stuff in the worst, most destructive way possible.

Fun fact: there is no downside for any union if during a widely publicized labor dispute you as a consumer decide you want to cancel your service, give that money to a strike fund, and then post about doing so. That is not something that undermines the union’s position.
Remember, when supporting a strike, let the unions take the lead. You don’t want to undermine their positions or plans.
