They crush the local economy, deplete city budgets, illegally withhold congressionally allocated funds. In exchange we get masked Texans running wild in the streets, paid for with tax money that was supposed to be used on our healthcare. Thank you to our federal partners.

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

I think people often wonder this, and it's a great question, so let me explain the advantages of 3D printing whistles. There are many.

The 3D printing effort started from one of our organizers who started by sourcing mass-produced whistles.
I mean, are they really cheaper or easier to produce than just sourcing the right thing from a mass distributor? it's sweet but doesn't seem Pareto efficient, and I feel like that's important to the revolution

I have said in the last six months, so many times, how glad I am that we moved to Minnesota. How happy I am that we landed here. How much I love the places and the people and the community.

If anything.... That has only been solidified more in the last month.

Use the anger you’re feeling now to get caught up and keep fighting it.

I am not an angry person.

It has been very uncomfortable for me to have been as angry as I have been recently.

I am probably going to be off social media for at least the rest of the day.

Counterpoint: you can and some of you will give yourselves honest to G-d PTSD watching it. Doing that will make you less able to maintain your life, to experience the joy you need to be resilient, to nurture the relationships that will support you, and to be an effective activist.
I understand why some can’t watch the video and absolutely support that choice. But if you can, I think you should. Yes, there have been so many of these over the years; *and* these are escalating times. It’s not more the same, it’s worse, and we need to face that best we can to change it.

they’re abducting our neighbors and putting them in concentration camps and they’ll empty a whole goddamn magazine into you while you’re lying on the ground if you don’t cheer them on while they’re fucking doing it.

I would like my local neighborhood news and my national crisis news to stop being the same thing.

I feel this so hard. Why would I want to be surrounded by monotony when the world has such rich cultures that I get to learn and explore! And delicious food! And drinks! And games! And traditions! I love to learn about what's important to different people in different ways.

And then combinations!
I realise I'm just a freak, but living in a multicultural city is the best thing of all time, it's just the best possible human experience and i can not understand why anyone on earth would be like "weve got to destroy this"

I can't help but be endeared when maintenance comes to work on anything, the two younger cats hide, but Poppy comes out from her heated bed to keep an eye on him (and maybe finagle some food or pets)

Just remember we can all do our part!
Organizing, calling your reps, protesting, and having sex with their wives while they're out terrorizing our cities are all good ways to fight back

The grief the grief the grief.

And the rage and love.

We have it in us to be so much better than this.

Testing my cat's glucose at home is WAY MORE STRESSFUL than it should be. Of course, previous times I have done it were fine but this time two pokes got no blood, and then she moved on the third poke and then SO MUCH blood.

She's fine, just annoyed. I am dreading checking it again soon.

How did I miss that they're taking Andexxa off the market? I don't think I have ever seen so happy to see a drug pulled.

There is something that feels very poetic about the last night of this work week being the longest night of the year. I am tired, but reflective.

I find myself so thankful that I landed where I did. I feel like, given that we moved sight unseen, things worked out really well. It's been really nice.

Google maps: this is the fastest route despite slower than normal traffic

No kidding, it was 40 degrees this morning and now it is snowing. I could be the only car on the road and it would be slower than normal traffic.
