Haven't touched my small sketchbook in months and i am trying to get back into casual non-client drawing. Nice to get 30 mins in this morning and to not think that hard about it.

This is a really fascinating article. I genuinely do not know how society should deal with these angry men who feel so deeply entitled to the bodies and submission of women and feel not the slightest interest or curiosity about women they go on dates with.

I told him that I was born in Russia and was a writer. He showed me a list he’d written of his favourite desserts in the city. It was a sober hobby he’d started during the pandemic, going to restaurants by himself, sampling sweets. He made a lot of lists, he said, most of them food-related. I asked what other kinds he made. “Lists of lies liberal white women tell about Donald Trump,” he replied. Suddenly, his leg was shaking. He grabbed the edges of the table and raised his voice: “White, liberal women are a plague on our society.” He proceeded to drink 11 iced coffees.

talking about candy salad with my boyfriend (he had never heard of it) and while showing him pictures of it I remarked that I would kill for a gummy candy ...to which i learned that he has gummies at his work and no one eats them!!! as travesty.

Two 12x16" acrylic paintings. The one on the left has three little black and blue birds bumbling around in a colorful, imaginary landscape of giant leaves and flowers.
