One of the most effective things you can do right now to fight Trump and ICE is to cancel your ChatGPT subscription.

Reading educates us about each other, about history, about injustice. Thats why they came for the newspapers, they came for the books, they came for public schools. It was never, ever, about free speech. It was about strengthening their place as feudal lords and ours as their servants and toys.

There are no immigration crises, anywhere. There are governments deliberately under-planning for forecasted immigration and then using the strain to turn people against each other instead of against them.

And Canada still has deals with Palentir. Walking us right into Thiel’s ideal.
Peter Thiel has been open about this for a long time. Trump is a way to break the republic, which can then be replaced by “free economic zones” with oligarchs as dictators and tech as a taskmaster for helpless humans without any rights. (1/2)
Definitely seems like they destroyed the country on purpose.

There are legtimate uses for AI. There are ways for AI to empower humans and level playing fields. It's just that they don't tend to make billionaires richer or let people be lazy, so that's not what is being forced on us.

Israel has been using AI to mass target Palestinians for years. It has used the genocide in Gaza to accelerate this technique, ramping up the speed of AI targeting to create what Israeli journalists called a “mass assassination factory”.

I’ve spent the past 2 years debating the credibility of the Gaza Health Ministry’s numbers with Israel supporters. It turns out the Israeli military agrees with me, not them.

My latest for Zeteo on how the media was also complicit in the genocide denial:

It seems that Acton’s quote is bang on - Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
At this point, is it just easier and quicker to publish lists of which powerful people do NOT appear in the Epstein files?

For decades in Canada, we built thousands of affordable co-op homes every year. In 1995, the federal and provincial governments stopped financially supporting co-op construction.

Thirty years of underinvestment in affordable homes has contributed to the housing crisis we face today.

Canadians need to deal with the bigotry being entrenched in policy right here at home. Consider what we are seeing south of the border as a wake up call. We lose the rights we don’t fight for.

Sure, I’ll bet those food inspectors were just surplus all along @mark-carney.bsky.social
And with the wheels completely off the cart down south, I’m sure nothing will get into our food supply that we need to track and alert people about. How is this for #ElbowsUp Canada?

Better for the climate, better for health, better for livability and quality of life.

Common sense.

Such a no-brainer, it’s remarkable that more cities HAVEN’T done the same.
Paris said au revoir to cars. Air pollution maps reveal a dramatic change.
