Dad, outdoor geek, leader of the Ontario Green Party, and political disruptor in Ontario.
Companies like Volt Carbon Technologies are proving that Ontario has what it takes to become a world leader in the green economy.

I got to visit their facility here in Guelph, Solid UltraBattery Inc, to see how they're making cleaner and higher-quality graphite to be used in cutting-edge batteries.

Another week, another motion to limit debate on three important bills.

Yesterday I voted NO on the government’s motion to fast track Bill 33, Bill 60 and Bill 40.

Generations of Ontarians have been left behind and the Ford government has allowed the housing and hunger crisis to get worse.

There are so many people who help Queen's Park run smoothly, and Legislative pages are at the top of the list.

I'm grateful to them for keeping me hydrated, making sure papers and notes flow freely, and helping MPPs get their jobs done.

Yesterday I voted in favour of the opposition day motion to have a buy Ontario procurement strategy. As a local food and farming advocate, I’ve spent my entire career pushing for a buy Ontario strategy, which is more important than ever with Trump attacking our economy.

The Ford government is starting out this session the same way they do every session — ramming through legislation without consulting with the people of Ontario.

We're losing our farmland at an unprecedented rate in Ontario.

Yesterday, Bobbi Ann Brady and I were in Halton Hills to talk to their city council about our bill to create a Foodbelt to protect our farmland.

A huge thank you to the Halton Hills council for passing a motion to support our bill.

It's time to get your free flu and covid shots Ontario!

Many locally owned pharmacies in Guelph are providing the shots, like Walsh's West End Pharmacy.

Check the list to find a pharmacy near you, www.ontario.ca/vaccine-loca...

Local businesses create good jobs and are a big part of what makes our communities so vibrant.

As a former small business owner myself, I love living in Guelph where our community makes an extra effort to support local businesses.

Life in Ontario is more expensive than ever and the Ford government is focused on bike lanes, tunnels and speed cameras.

We need a government that's focused on the real affordability problems people are facing.

The Ford government has a chance to take meaningful action to end homelessness by passing @aislinnclancy.bsky.social and @lfairclough.bsky.social's bill today.

I encourage my fellow MPPs to read their powerful op-ed before we vote later today.
"Now is the time for bold action. Hard challenges require us to step away from partisanship and focus on the people we serve."

@lfairclough.bsky.social and I wrote about the housing crisis Ontario is in and why we worked across party lines to put forward a bill to end homelessness.
Homelessness ends with housing: A call for solutions to Ontario’s homelessness crisis

Every child in Ontario has the right to safety. support and care.

Dress Purple Day reminds us that supporting children and families takes a community. It is important to let young people know that we see them, we hear them and we are here to support them.

Towns like Fergus and Elora know just how important our farmland is.

Yesterday, Bobbi Ann Brady and I had the chance to speak about the Protect Our Food Act to Centre Wellington council members.

Ontario's farmland is a precious resource that is vital to protect.

This #OntarioAgricultureWeek I'm feeling thankful for the land that feeds us and the farmers that steward it while growing our food.

It's hard to overstate just how far backwards the Ford government has taken us on climate.

The rest of the world is using the shift toward renewables to generate jobs and prosperity, meanwhile the Premier has no plan at all.

Sending my best wishes to the Jewish community for Yom Kippur.

Marked by fasting and repentance, the Day of Atonement offers an opportunity to look forward with hope to the year ahead. Yom Kippur reminds those of all faiths of the importance of self-reflection and renewal.
