Dad, outdoor geek, leader of the Ontario Green Party, and political disruptor in Ontario.
Today, on Remembrance Day, I join all Canadians in expressing my immense gratitude to Canada’s veterans and first responders.

Their service and sacrifice has laid the foundation for so many of the democratic freedoms we enjoy today.

Companies like Volt Carbon Technologies are proving that Ontario has what it takes to become a world leader in the green economy.

I got to visit their facility here in Guelph, Solid UltraBattery Inc, to see how they're making cleaner and higher-quality graphite to be used in cutting-edge batteries.

There are so many people who help Queen's Park run smoothly, and Legislative pages are at the top of the list.

I'm grateful to them for keeping me hydrated, making sure papers and notes flow freely, and helping MPPs get their jobs done.

We're losing our farmland at an unprecedented rate in Ontario.

Yesterday, Bobbi Ann Brady and I were in Halton Hills to talk to their city council about our bill to create a Foodbelt to protect our farmland.

A huge thank you to the Halton Hills council for passing a motion to support our bill.

Local businesses create good jobs and are a big part of what makes our communities so vibrant.

As a former small business owner myself, I love living in Guelph where our community makes an extra effort to support local businesses.

Every child in Ontario has the right to safety. support and care.

Dress Purple Day reminds us that supporting children and families takes a community. It is important to let young people know that we see them, we hear them and we are here to support them.

Towns like Fergus and Elora know just how important our farmland is.

Yesterday, Bobbi Ann Brady and I had the chance to speak about the Protect Our Food Act to Centre Wellington council members.

Ontario's farmland is a precious resource that is vital to protect.

This #OntarioAgricultureWeek I'm feeling thankful for the land that feeds us and the farmers that steward it while growing our food.

Today I visited the Daily Bread Food Bank in Etobicoke.

Their work and all the volunteers they engage help feed thousands and thousands of people at more than 205 food banks and meal programs in Toronto.

I had an amazing time today at the 106th International Plowing Match in Grassie.

It was great to connect with farmers from across Ontario and get back on a tractor to see if I've still got it. It’s like riding a bike for us farm kids.

I need your help!

Later today I'll be judging the Ontario Tree Pageant hosted by
treetrust.ca and the race is too close to call. They're all good contenders so I'm coming to you.

Which of these trees would you put at the top of your list?

The weather was perfect this weekend for the Parkinson’s Canada Superwalk and the Ovarian Cancer of Canada’s Walk of Hope.

It’s heartening to see many friends and loved ones walking to support people living with these illnesses.

I will push for provincial funding for better healthcare services.

Back on the grid after my annual father-daughter canoe trip!

Even though we are thoroughly soaked, we had an amazing time at Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park. I'm excited to get back to work fighting to protect it and the rest of Ontario's world class nature.
