Strong, expressive types removes the need for many kinds of parameterized tests.

Instead the compiler works as the test - if it doesn't conform to the definition, the code won't even compile.

I 2005 regnet de med at Ensjøveien og Gladengveien ville ha 15 000 kjøretøy i døgnet da utbyggingen var ferdig. I dag er trafikken 5-6000 biler i døgnet. Omtrent en tredjedel.

Problemet med ukritisk motorveibygging er at det er ulønnsomt langt utenfor byen (fordi der er trafikken for lav). Og ulønnsomt i nærheten av by, fordi der fortrenger den tett bystruktur og andre mer arealeffektive reisemåter. Mer bilmobilitet i nærhet av by er ikke lønnsomt for samfunnet.
