Leading American companies — including Palantir, Deloitte, and private prison giant GEO Group — raked in over $22B from ICE and CBP contracts last year.

Do not forget who is profiting from cruelty and human suffering.

Borders also keep you in
A Minnesota woman observing ICE agents in her car was cornered on one-way streets. An agent approached, called her by name—citing facial recognition. Days later, her Global Entry and TSA privileges were revoked, with no explanation.

The best skincare ingredient is a hobby, work, or school that keeps your mind 1 million miles away from anything skincare or your-face-related for at least 23 hours a day. Which i know is easier said than done, but even a miracle ingredient is nothing if you obsess over its effects after only 2 uses

I like drawing. Drawing calms me. Doing a contour sketch is like running your hand across the edges of an object with your brain.

The government is using technology to identify protestors, and then using that information to track and intimidate them. The people using the devices are wearing masks, but we know the companies creating the technology.

Just a reminder that at least 242 journalists were killed by Israel since October 7.
Palestine was the test to see what they could do. Not standing in solidarity with Palestinians was not only a major moral and ethical failing it was a strategic mistake that everyone will pay for.

Wait wait are neurotypical people supposed to never be bothered by the type of socks they're wearing? That sounds wrong, some socks are definitely worse than others, right? Like if you have socks with seams that bother you, you pull them a certain way or layer them with other socks to make them work

Similarly, the point of "First They Came" is not "when they came for me, that's when it was bad."

They point is everyone should oppose them when they first start coming for people, even if it's not anyone you know or like. Because if you don't, things usually get worse from there.

Not surprisingly, kids are not faring well in the for-profit family concentration camp. They are distressed, sleeping a lot, not getting enough to eat. Rep. Castro reports that a 2-month-old baby is in there
I just visited Liam and his father. I also met with countless more children and families who have done nothing wrong and should not be detained.

People are right to be incensed, but there are more names to uplift. ICE killed an immigrant man named Silverio Villegas González in Chicagoland. He had children. Victor Manuel Diaz was kidnapped in Minneapolis and died in ICE custody on January 14. Their names deserve to be repeated, too.

Allen Dulles, the man who went on to be director of the CIA, spent WWII in Europe, ignoring reports of concentration camps and telling high ranking Nazis that he would help them safely leave Germany by the time the war ended.
Way too many people in this country asking how Germany deNazified are going to be very unhappy when they learn they kinda didn't, we paid for a bunch of their Nazis to come over here and do shit like run our space program.
