A true side note: Prince cared deeply about food insecurity, and would routinely make substantial donations to local food banks and community kitchens in every town that he would play in during his later tours. Sometimes they would ask for supplies & his team would show up with huge amounts of food.

I had a relatively easy C-section and it was (little t) traumatic and for years I would cry every time I had to talk about it because even though I went to a "baby-friendly" hospital, which is supposed to be more holistic and patient-centered. I was bullied and bulldozed and treated like an object.
Free birth is eugenic *and* it exists not because birthing people want their babies to die, but because there are so many horror stories floating around about doctors disrespecting birthing people in what is one of the most vulnerable states any human can experience.
