Heading up to the OHSU Epilepsy Monitoring Unit today. Last time I was there they discovered I had a rare form of cancer and had an emergency surgery.

If you are a cis person *please* take 2 minutes to do this. Trans people with non-updated gender markers, historical gender marker changes, and X markers are terrified to travel right now; rolling back this policy would mean a lot.

Very slowly reading a book about Alexander von Humboldt and loving him more and more as I go. I already knew he inspired Darwin, was an abolitionist, likely gay, and studied nature. But just learned he introduced human induced climate change as a concept into science back in 1800!

the issue with this prompt is that any woman who deviates from social norms/standards, or is an intellectual or artist or has opinions will inevitably be called “intimidating.” i’ve been called “intimidating.” which is odd because i’m a 5 foot tall vegetarian bookworm with severe social anxiety.
