This is a pogrom
More than 400 people, including hundreds of citizens, were “sorted” at gun point into racial and ethnic groups by 200 ICE agents who fired flash-bang grenades into cars with people inside, pointed guns at children & demanded their zip tied parents not comfort them. apple.news/Ausdx6kWtT0e...
Idaho families sue over immigration raid that swept up hundreds, including U.S. citizens — NBC News
About 400 people, including children and U.S. citizens, were detained for four hours while they were denied food and water in the raid, according to the lawsuit.

A Reuters photographer captured this image of a page from Pam Bondi's "burn book," which she used to counter any questions from Democratic lawmakers during an unhinged hearing today.

It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files.

Just wow.

Introducing a cool, new variation on "Elon Musk Says" media coverage. Presenting, "Elon Musk Wants"!

In a supposedly serious newspaper near you. If there are any left. Which there aren't.
insane to be reporting this stuff with a straight face. like what are we doing here man

It's quite another to get *shut out* in the grand jury.

Well, yes, but she also has that job because her brother is Elon's former and also-maybe-present securities lawyer.
So, to wrap up today's insanity:

President Trump, who is deeply implicated in a pedophilia scandal involving his best friend, the sex trafficker, sent Attorney General Bondi -- who only has that job because Trump's first choice was also implicated in a separate pedophilia scandal -- to the House...

Things like this typically only happen when lawyers scare people.

My guess is USDOJ sent the company a subpoena of some sort about the fact that it's a child porn factory. Or if not USDOJ, EU regulators. And everyone's getting scary do-not-delete-things e-mails.

Just my own speculation.
So apparently at least 11 senior people (including 2 co-founders) left simultaneously xAI yesterday

Explanations?

1) Incriminating Epstein documents being circulated internally

2) Illegal activities discovered in the business

3) Extraordinary coincidence

Invoking wealthy class solidarity to excuse sex crimes against children is sorta the Epstein Class in a nutshell
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

It’s so much more complex than that.

The hype is not true. Hype is hype. We do not need 10,000 more data centers and billions more GPUs.

But AI has use cases where its leverage is quite impressive. Which may not matter to average people until their jobs are gone.
I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

Sometimes very hard not to feel like the rest of the country has abandoned Minnesota. We STILL have ICE everywhere. Our schools, businesses, and economy are in profound crisis. But without Bovino here throwing tear gas, much of the country seems to not care at all what’s being done to us.

Also we’re going to put every one of these Nazis on trial for their crimes.
When I got the contract to write a history of concentration camps in 2014, I hoped to keep the US from ending up here. That didn't work out! But now it's critical to understand how much is already in process and the enormity of what's coming. The sooner we act to stop it, the more people we'll save.

My parents got a demand to complete the Census Bureau's American Community Survey in the mail. It's legit, so to speak. And it's asking detailed questions about finances that overlap with one's (legally protected) tax return—except calculated from an arbitrary date in the middle of the year.

good thread documenting what's going on here but I think it's important to emphasize this is 100% on the judges. If every DoJ attorney headed into federal court knew that this sort of behavior would result in immediate sanctions or recommendations for disbarment from a federal judge, it would end.
NEW: Federal judges are increasingly furious at what they see as a pattern / playbook of defiance by the Trump administration to court orders in immigration cases — in Minnesota and around the country.

Here’s a look at what they’re seeing: www.politico.com/news/2026/02...
How the Trump administration skirts — and defies — court rulings on ICE detentions
A POLITICO review of hundreds of cases brought by ICE detainees shows a pattern of noncompliance that has frustrated judges across the country.

YouTube just terminated PlainSite's YouTube channel, which posted certain Epstein Files video directly as provided by the government, because doing so purportedly violated YouTube's "spam, deceptive practices and scams" policy.

For real. Providing the Epstein Files is a "scam" according to Google.

Sam Lessin thinks his trying to suck up to a convicted sex offender who abused girls en masse is "fun."

I guess this is what he meant when in college he gave me the unsolicited advice that one should try to make friends with *everyone*. Literally everyone. But especially the criminals.
