Today, Games That Weren't is releasing a staggering 33 builds of the #GameBoyColor version of Re-Volt, including the very final version. A game DC Studios and Acclaim were due to release in 2000, but was canned. Design docs, maps and assets also added!

Working hard? Hardly working?

Either way, why not watch this if you haven't already? And if you have, why not share it to your friends? What's the worst that can happen?

Why not watch this?

I like the Carry On films but the lore is too confusing, impossible for modern audiences to accept these people could play a major part in the French Revolution AND lose their bras on camping holidays

They are hung up on there having to be a "lore" behind the character. There doesn't. There literally wasn't any "lore" that made any kind of sense until the Daniel Craig films. Casino Royale hit the "reset" button for Bond. The new film just has to do the same.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

AI fanboys get so upset when you criticise their precious GenAI because it is allowing them to "be" something that they have never been able to be before.

They get to "be" artists. I say "be", when they are of course just cosplaying at being an artist at best.
November 10, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Well, Eurogamer have upset the pro-AI camp with this review.

Reading the comments on the EG site, and it's clear that a lot of gamers genuinely don't care about people such as voice actors losing their jobs because "game good".
For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

This is the latest build of my DOS game jam game. It’s currently 208kb, single executable, and that’s with a bunch of standard C libraries still linked in. Plays well, too IMHO :D

I guarantee the IOC issuing a blanket ban on trans athletes is because the US Government has pressured them with threats of preventing the Olympics from taking place in LA.

The IOC will follow the money and bend the knee, rather than be a vanguard for true equality.
November 10, 2025 at 2:40 PM
After years of this bullshit, I'm STILL waiting for a transphobe to give me a definitive list of the trans women who have "dominated" their chosen sport and made it "impossible for those born as women to compete".

I shan't hold my breath....
