Just last week Labor backed Brereton saying he had their full confidence. That looks completely reckless today.

It's time for Labor to read the writing on the wall and work with Parliament to remove Commissioner Brereton, then start rebuilding trust in the NACC.

Herzog on our soil is the biggest political cringe moment since Slomo asked Jenny to explain the basic principle of consent.

It is a stench that will linger all the way to the polling booths.

Honestly, wasn’t going to attend the Melbourne rally. Not much of a protest attending type. But just watched Herzog dismiss a question about 70’000 dead people by saying “we didn’t start it”. I’ll be going along now. Fuck him & the Israeli government & its murderous troops.

A good read from Amnesty Australia about your rights if protesting - President Herzog (AKA Signer of Bombs that Blow Up Children and Assistant in a Genocide). Yes the Minns government announced draconian rules but its not unlawful to protest tomorrow

How is a call for the freedom of Palestinians “controversial”?

Palestinians are subject to Israel’s brutally oppressive apartheid regime, ethnic cleansing, and genocide.

What is more “threatening”?

A call for freedom?

Or murder, assault, apartheid, genocide?

So apparently soon I could face up to TWO YEARS in jail for political art that says “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” if someone "takes offence". This is what Crisafulli is proposing in QLD. Acceptable speech is narrowing in real time. And it's fckn terrifying.
