A real pleasure to meet George Clarke and hear about his experiences growing up on a council estate. We both know the positive impact social housing can have on families’ lives.

That’s why I’m determined to continue delivering more council homes as we build a fairer London for everyone.

I deleted my post from before…

I thought it was fake

So I went to WH Smith and here it is

An unbelievable attempt to sanitise this man and normalise what’s he’s done.

BREAKING: Gordon Brown defends Keir Starmer

"I can look in his eyes and see he is a man of integrity.

"He wants to do the right things. Perhaps he has been too slow to do the right things. But he must do the right things now.

"Lets judge what he does"

When you start listing it, this government have already done a lot. The media are only interested in what causes division - it feeds the algorithm.
Parents now have 30 hours free childcare. Children have free breakfast club. 450,000 children taken out of poverty with 2 child limit removal, NHS waiting lists down, national wealth fund for green investment, exploitative zero hours contracts banned, increased min. wage, trains publicly owned……

Raging Corbynites out in force demanding this be the end of Starmer. They smell blood. Kim Johnson just proudly announced Jeremy never had Mandelson in the party no but he did have many raging antisemites and took the party to the darkest place in history. Just run the country!

I didn't vote Labour BUT

I believe Starmer to be an honest clever man of integrity

These are essential PM qualities which have been lacking for so long in British politics

We would be mad to descend into the pit that Johnson Truss and to some extent Sunak dug for us

Slow but on the right track

Mandleson will be the catalyst to bring in changes that will clean up our politics. And Gordon Brown and Keir Starmer are exactly the duo to pull it off. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Of course she did. I bet she knew all along she hadn’t paid the correct tax on her house either. 🙄

Just a word of thanks to our fantastic media. Despite my racist bullying at school, having a senior colleague imprisoned for being a traitor, breaking the MP’s Code Of Conduct 17 times, my dodgy house purchase and even being in the Epstein Files, nobody is demanding I resign!

You kidding me?! This. Is. Not. Normal.

Hope Ed Davey is going to call for Ed Davey to resign now.

I’d like to see a poll that chooses between:

It was stupid to appoint Mandelson but I’m so sick of this country imploding and changing PMs I’d rather stability.

VS

We should go through months of choosing a new leader.

Most people are sick of leadership contests.
Just run the country!

So Trump supports the Chagos deal. Lols to the right wingers that were hoping for this to fall apart.
February 5, 2026 at 6:39 PM
Let’s be honest Mandelson was appointed mostly because it was known he swam in the same swamps as Trump. No they didn’t know he spilled state secrets, but they did know he spoke Trump’s language. We all knew it and thought it could be clever. Stop revising history.

Wild prediction - Starmer stays and this improves the public perception of him as they see he has grit and would be brought down like others have. (Ok wild hope maybe?)
February 5, 2026 at 3:13 PM
I’m ever the optimist but is the Starmer furore calming? I’ve been out all day and no news channels talking about it.

This poll did not go well for GB News. Lol

2019. Nothing we have learned in the last couple of days is new. It doesn’t lessen its seriousness but it isn’t new info. We knew all this about Mandelson 7 years ago!!
