Minns is expecting a smooth reception. He said (paraphrased) “without ambiguity he was hopeful of no violence by protestors” and has deployed 3,000 police to make sure it is highly likely there will be violence. We have seen the violent behavior of NSW police before. They have been charged over it.
Australian politicians are hoping Herzog gets a nice, smooth reception. Let's see how much we can embarrass them.
