a key indicator this is a bad faith argument is the implied assumption that working-class people lack the ability to use professional or prosumer-grade software tools and thus need things dumbed down for them, which is both bizarre and demonstrably inaccurate

Listen man, something I don't think I've shared about the anti-trans stuff. When I was a kid - and bear in mind this was the 80s - a family friend was trans. Long before the idea of puberty blockers and stuff. She got asked shit all the fucking time.

Why, it's almost as if capitalism prioritises profit above everything else.
This is staggering. All the changes to student loan terms (many retrospective) mean that overall, graduates* will repay more than they borrowed in real terms - i.e. the state will make a profit out of student loans, not subsidise them. So a graduate contribution >100% via the loans.
