Viewers may recall that this was the kit my (then) police constable nephew was inadvertently sprayed with whilst trying to arrest an assault suspect.
He described the sensation
"Really fucking uncomfortable Uncle & I only caught a bit of it"

He successfully restrained his 'client'
It is worth noting that one of the big marketers of less-than-lethal munitions containing PAVA is, erm, FN Herstal, the Belgian firearms company.

This - It took me 3 hrs on Sunday to make Linguine e Polpettini and even then my sugo could have used another hour.
The timed aspect of bake off and sewing bee bugs me because it often forces bad work but with knitting it is even more worrying because it is a gentle slow craft

New petition: "Restore the Electoral Commission's Independence"

New petition: Restore the Electoral Commission's Independence
We want ministers stripped of any powers related to the Electoral Commission’s budget and strategy. Parliament must restore the independence the Commission had pre-2022, and guarantee it can operate free from any political influence.

A brief history of the Tar Barrels at the small town of Ottery St. Mary, Devon where 15,000 to 20,000 people usually turn up to watch this event where only Ottregians can carry the flaming barrels. I went once & it was crazy.👇

I'm sure there's something wrong with me but stamp#4 FTW.
In May, Laura Chenault taught me how to carve stamps using linocut tools. In October, I completed a daily challenge set by Serena Rios McRae. I’ve continued to carve stamps daily.

These four were traced from images I found online, mostly on Canva. Image credits in alt text.

Forever chemicals have been used prolifically since the 1940s in thousands of products from frying pans to school uniforms.
Over time they've found their way into the environment.

"This is Mrs F, she doesn't wear a bra & her nipples are really long. She stands in the hallway as we try & squeeze past with her shopping...

...I'll be in the van."
