JUST IN: Judge Provinzino in Minnesota has held a Justice Department attorney in civil contempt for violations of her order requiring the return of a released ICE detainee’s ID documents. He must pay $500 a day until the documents are returned.

The 2 Catholic priests and Sister who entered the Broadview, IL ICE facility, to provide Ash Wednesday services to those inside, have come back out.
They gave brief statements to press before leaving for an Ash Wednesday mass in Melrose Park.

I mean, this is right.
Yes: he allowed the State Police, or directed them, to protect ICE from protestors who were saying bad things about them. That was wrong.
But serving this up to the GOP on a platter and making them eat it is a worthy move.
