I’m recommending that paper everywhere. It shows that so many assumptions are turned on their head.

But politicians are famously superstitious learners and I suspect haven’t integrated tjis yet.

New, from me: Trump finalized his Schedule F policy, allowing him to remove job protections from career civil servants.

The new rule is dishonest and unmoored from reality in its effort to formalize the politicization of the federal government 🧵

Perhaps we read the resistenza user’s post differently.

They quite clearly imply in their post — and in reply to others who say it’s speculation —that CPB targeted Pretti because of this system and the whole encounter was planned.

There’s no evidence of that and personally I’d not speculate.

This is wild speculation and it’s really not helpful to repost. We have all seen the videos — are you really claiming somehow they magically got Pretti to step in and then “knew” to target him? The situation was way too fluid. Not a credible claim.

Breaking news: Trump cabinet official learns that POTUS is a narcissist who only cares about himself.

Changing organizational culture — especially a military one — takes a hell of a lot more work that reassigning a leader and installing another one.

The Admin has spent six months hiring thugs and praising them when they terrorize the populace.

The only way to deescalate is rewind the whole thing

I suspect not fired, “reassigned” and we will be told it was in the works anyway.

Noem is next. She’s cosplayed for the last time.

Has he been fired or just reassigned?

Sundenbock.

As in:

Bovino ist der Sundenbock.

I’m relearning German and while I’ve always known the word Grupenfuhrer, I don’t know the word for sacrificial lamb.

Both apply to Bovino.

About time for the storm trooper to go

I stopped posting the daily reminder, but just in case it’s in need of a refresher:

JUST IN: In a new lawsuit, Minnesota officials say DHS mishandled evidence from today's crime scene and made "astonishing" law enforcement decisions. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
Tonight, on behalf of Minnesota law enforcement, I filed a lawsuit against DHS to prevent the destruction of evidence related to the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti.

DHS is not above the law, and Alex sure as hell is not beneath it.
Absolutely reprehensible that AG Bondi is offering ICE stand down in exchange for access to voting rolls. Outrageous and disgusting. It shows ICE is in Minneapolis is not for law enforcement purposes. Instead it’s a way to stir up shit in blue states and extort them.
In the wake of another fatal shooting in Minneapolis.
AG Pam Bondi sends Gov. Walz a letter today making several asks including:
"Allow DOJ Civil Rights division access to state voter rolls"

Could be a long hot summer

I just missed the 4:30 and didn’t want to wait 90 min
