Nurses like Alex Pretti at the MN VA Hospital were represented by AFGE Local 3669. What is AFGE going to do about the blatantly false statement about Pretti issued today by its affiliate union, the National Border Patrol Council? If the NBPC won't disavow those lies, AFGE should disaffiliate them.

It’s always been plausible. A widely coordinated sickout isn’t necessary. A few scattered actions in strategic facilities could effectively disrupt the system. But unlike 2019 it isn’t clear which side would feel forced to “cave” if that happened. Perhaps that’s one reason why it hasn’t happened yet
