Oh i hate that they didnt match that with the books. It makes for a better death for tywin than the show, but i guess him being pissed about shae was still decent enough of a plot point

Tywin got really muddy so he had to go in the shower real quick and now he's feeling VERY sorry for himself and I can feel the self pity radiating off him in waves

The irony is that in Westerosi martial culture, lords were expected to lead from the front. Tywin leading from the rear is the exception rather than the rule, and nobody dares call him out on it more because he already has a track record of committing war crimes at the drop of a hat.
