#snapsendsolve
A friend of mine likes to take revenge for this sort of thing by finding cracks in the footpath and SnapSendSolve them. Don’t get the money back but it provides satisfaction

I read local council mins, I use apps like snapsendsolve for local issues. I met my state rep several times and write my fed rep often. I support senators who vote for laws I agree with. I am aware of actions at all three levels of government and study details as elections arise. I strive to do more

Outstanding service from Hobsons Bay council, reported a builder's fence obstructing a shared path, inspected and email back to me to confirm it has been fixed. Used SnapSendSolve.

If you want to report a footpath maintenance issue, call your local council or use an app like Antenno or SnapSendSolve to send a photo and report the issue.

You can also take photos and send them to the council using an app like Antenno or SnapSendSolve, but this will likely take longer to get the issue resolved and some councils don't accept user-generated photos as evidence.

The St Kilda Rd bike lanes are often filled with leaves. Many cleaning requests submitted to #snapsendsolve. I wonder if this will spur the #cityofmelbourne and #cityofportphillip to add them to the regular sweeping schedule?

Report motor vehicles parked over footpaths to your local council every time you see them. If they don't know about it occurring, they can't enforce the law. Some councils have apps such as SnapSendSolve, Antenno, and FixIt, that make reporting easy.

i want foursquare, strava and snapsendsolve apps made for here.

What street is this on?

Needs to be reported with SnapSendSolve as 'dangerous road infrastructure'. Once notified of the danger in this manner their failure to act leaves them open to prosecution liability if future incidents occur.

I shall report it if you give me the location.

Erin just called the SnapSendSolve feed “Jawa Tinder”.
SnapSendSolve now has an endless feed where you can scroll through everyone’s busybody complaints (including mine) and I am so fucking jazzed for it.

Bluesky is dead, SnapSendSolve is where it’s at now.

SnapSendSolve posts have now gone public. Most of the posts are people desperate to get local council issues fixed. Some others.. can’t be helped.

Discovered a sizeable yellow jacket nest in a park on our normal dog walk... currently wrestling with my conscience about installing SnapSendSolve to the council. The procurement process the council used to select SSS over the option we proffered was very unprofessional and marred by horrible […]

I was in Cody’s meeting with staff. My take is: the council customer support management software is not fit for purpose, particularly the integration with SnapSendSolve.

Banning someone for providing *too much* feedback is the wrong solution here
When Cody Cooper sees a cracked footpath, fallen tree or broken sign, he calls it in.

Now the Christchurch City Council has grown so frustrated with the volume of his requests that a senior staff member suggested “we should ban him for life”. www.thepress.co.nz/nz-news/3605...

For SnapSendSolve data, it's in their ESRI ArcGIS database ( gis.ccc.govt.nz/arcgis/rest/... ) but I don't think that's publicly available. I expect it probably has PII relating to the reporters in it.

If you haven't tried already, hive SnapSendSolve a go. Makes it easy to report issues to the local council.

@MarrickvilleNSW also getting rid of the email complaints form and only having snapsendsolve is an issue for anyone w/out a smart phone.
