I'm guessing a lot of people will be trading in relatively new Apple Airs after getting the latest models for Christmas... and a lot of them will end up being resold as refurbs. Fingers crossed an excess inventory means they'll be cheaper if I wait a month or two.

Agree with all of that. Worth noting though that XPTs are currently being given '5 year life extension refurbs'. So who knows what that means?

I know people out there are down on the room refurbs at WDW switching to the soulless "hardwood" floors.

The refurbs are usually either current generation or one back, sometimes (but rarely) 2, and I always buy refurb even when not being price-sensitive because I find them more reliable: the certification tests they put them through are MUCH more thorough than standard-assembly QC.

Oh, I'll have to have one of those keyboard cases if I end up going with the iPad. Having just the touchscreen is a non-starter for me.

Also talking as if train refurbs by ROSCOs are done out of the goodness of their hearts. Not because they had years of guaranteed rental income to pay for it. See also still renting out stock the public sector paid for 40 years ago 🤦♂️

Looking at refurbished ones. Would you say the 12.9 inch is worth it? Aside from testing web stuff, I used my for side project design/illustration, watching media and reading comics. Been doing this on and 11inch pro, but there's not much in it pricewise for refurbs.

As much as I was working on blankets, Im going to shove those back on the shelf and start knocking out some of the fursuit refurbs. They not only will sell better, they take up a ton of space vs folded up fabric LOL. Admittedly, ADHD also got bored of blankets again (I can only do so much on repeat)
