My truck is borked again. Almost a quarter century old. Smell gas under it & it’s misfiring/rumbling. Also hear a bonk/bang noise underneath when I accelerate hard especially uphill.
I am so tired. All I can think of now besides going to the mechanic is to write out everything—

I've seen the Paranthropus robustus (AKA Australopithecus robustus) fossil SK-54 going around lately which reminds me of this art inspired by it. A leopard's canines perfectly match two skull punctures on the back of the fossil skull. #fossil #paleoart #leopard #australopithecus #paranthropus #art

Gorgeous giant beetle grubs I’m trying to ID. Time to go find out about beetle grub care lol. There’s so much suburban development in my county that the more unusual and uncommon bugs are really special so I really want to help these guys out. I am thrilled big beetles breed on our land!

Hey entomology bluesky! I’m in piedmont Georgia (US) and this massive oak log just came crashing out of one of my trees. Does anybody have any idea what these huge grubs are? The only huge beetles I know locally are unicorn beetles. If they ARE big beetles I want to know how to keep them safe!

Hey entomology bluesky! I’m in piedmont Georgia (US) and this massive oak log just came crashing out of one of my trees. Does anybody have any idea what these huge grubs are? The only huge beetles I know locally are unicorn beetles. If they ARE big beetles I want to know how to keep them safe!

Please get this book. we are so close to funding and I worked so hard in it. I promise you will like it and even if you don’t, there are probably other things you can use it for. Use it as a coaster, use it to level your wobbly table. So many possibilities
