#interviewees
Good job, Heather. #survivingmormonism was terrific. Like Leah Remini, she speaks the language of her interviewees and that makes a difference. I hope she does more episodes. I was raised in a family whose Mormonism goes back to Joseph Smith.

Alors oui, "not all journalistes".

The Record Collector special on David Bowie 1981-2016 is mandatory reading. The net has been cast widely & inspiringly for interviewees, as here, where DB’s art curator Beth Greenacre speaks about his love for Frank Auerbach’s Head Of Gerda Boehm. The whole interview with Greenacre is fascinating.

There’s a documentary where one of the white male interviewees says ‘It’s for the greater good’ - and I often wonder about what they could possibly think justifies all of the inflicted suffering.

When Lockjaw puts his comb in his mouth to wet it before combing, I think that's a callback to something Paul Wolfowitz does in a FAHRENHEIT 9/11 clip. (Moore has a montage of interviewees on camera before questions get rolling and that's one.)

yep, i'm not really even advocating for any one coach. there are plenty of good hires, but not giving freya the job feels like a sign and not necessarily a bad one. it's just telling us something that i don't see yet. it should be a little clearer whenever we see a list of interviewees and hire.

I'm reminded of a huge red flag in interviews: interviewees who confidently declare something that is _very_ wrong, particularly in response to a question. Just tell me you don't know.

I’ve recently started interviewing candidates for a role and it’s a noticeably worse experience - more than ever the capability of interviewees don’t match the CVs, and our ability to do things like set tasks or tests is greatly reduced when we know LLMs are being used

Ran out of podcasts on the way to work and caught ten minutes of Today on Radio 4. I see the Phantom Typist is still there; you'd think if you're going to insist on typing while talking to your interviewees you'd invest in quieter keyboards, wouldn't you?

These interviewees
We know little of the motivation of the person doing them. #ShawnRyan we know, predictable. The other guy, we don't. But the grains of truth in psychology are real, aspects, methodology. His audience in the comments can't see it, they are it

"The report, based on more than 200 interviews and “forensic” corroboration of the interviewees’ testimonies, details beatings being administered for minor infractions, such as talking too loudly, showering at the wrong time, or even asking for medical treatment."

1) Started reading this on the flight, recommended by Rusty Hassan of WPFW, one of the interviewees for the book, which may be a unique tome: it's a jazz book, of sorts, and a radio book, but it's also African American Studies—race and $$$ have always played a role in what jazz is on what radio...

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel the BBC is actually ‘paying’ trump; not in cash, but in ‘positive coverage’ on BBC. They challenge interviewees by pitting them against trump’s ideology. Has the BBC suddenly become the Fox News in England?

Just catching up on the first episode of David Olusoga's #Empire. A fascinating, sobering watch. As one of the interviewees says, "I'm not asking you to be ashamed of it, but I am asking you to be aware of it." Interesting to see a little focus on Bath too.
Empire with David Olusoga - Series 1: Episode 1
David Olusoga tells the story of the British Empire, from its origins under Elizabeth I to the establishment of colonies in America, the Caribbean and India.

Got it. Just read the post, and it does seem like they’re now making the obvious choice, of doing in person interviews. Seems like that will handle it straightaway. I can’t tell if the poster is implying the interviewees were AI or just low wage subcontractors but either way employers can solve.

There's a broad and odd variety of interviewees including fishermen, hovercraft pilots, beachcombers, lightshipmen, smugglers (kind of), Battle of Britain curators and many others.

Tales of 18th Century Men-of-War shipwrecks, lost souls, recovered submarines, seals, lobsters, archaeology and more.

I was on a trip with a brand (which I won't name) who had never run a press trip and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The incompetence was staggering, their ability to connect me with interviewees who could actually answer questions was nil, and then they interrupted everything. Awful

This week's #StrongMessageHere includes @rialina.com @aiannucci.bsky.social giving @sophyridge.bsky.social advice on treating politician interviewees as if they were comedy hecklers.

Absolutely glorious!

Over 90% of BBC Arabic web articles and videos exhibited pro-Palestinian or anti-Israeli sentiment, including on 7 October. Over a quarter of BBC Arabic interviewees are connected to Hamas or affiliated terror groups and/or posted antisemitic rhetoric online, including support for October 7 attacks

Based on his texts, it seems like he and Steve Bannon were developing some sort of filmed series where they would interview famous people and scientists (e.g., there are texts about filming discussions with Woody Allen and Noam Chomsky). Maybe this is a list of potential interviewees?

Any half decent journo could utterly destroy the LNP interviewees. It’s almost child’s play and yet we see them daily being fined opportunities to platform lies.
