Some podcasters (audio or video) provide you with the transcript as a paying service. It is a great way for them to make a bit of money. I subscribed to Sabine Hossenfelder patreon for this, for example.

PS: This is why video podcasts are better: auto-generated subtitles :-)

Seems #ZekeHausfather is yet another now saying that #ClimateChange is not a #ClimateCrisis .. but he used to

The #IEA stated previous #PeakOil would be reached in 2030 .. but now it's 2050 .. at least?

Even Sabine Hossenfelder mentioned commenting on it

Hadn't checked in on her in a while. I see Sabine Hossenfelder has turned from a bit weird to actively anti-science.

As long as you don't do a Hossenfelder you should be fine.

It should come as no surprise that Brian Keating and Eric Weisstein are best buddies, also Sabine Hossenfelder. Frauds and grifters the lot of ‘em.

It should come as no surprise that I'm pretty skeptical about quantum computing. (I seem to be skeptical about most new tech.) But it might be able to do this. Maybe. Sabine Hossenfelder has a good video (below) expressing skepticism that it will ever be able to do pretty much anything.
The Quantum Apocalypse Is Coming. Be Very Afraid
What happens when quantum computers can finally crack encryption and break into the world’s best-kept secrets? It’s called Q-Day—the worst holiday maybe ever.

I've only recently come across Sabine Hossenfelder. My bad. She seems to have an axe to grind with the way academia works, but then I don't know any academic who doesn't, at least in private.
I hope that her take on nuclear energy will reverberate in German society. Take 1

My favorite science writers are Richard Feynman & Stephen Jay Gould, for evolutionary theory, I lean towards contrarians like Sabine Hossenfelder, who argues against a multiverse. Despite that, a favorite story has always been All the Myriad Ways, by Larry Niven.

I wonder what Sabine Hossenfelder is thinking, considering her own battle about money sunk in "wrong science", now that AI has completely destroyed money in ANY science.

Ah right, she's a youtuber now.
