Deep in rural Japan last night we had a party: three families, three languages (JP, EN, FR), six countries (Japan, Martinique, France, England, Pakistan, South Africa) represented, and a rainbow of colors. Haven’t seen such a cultural mix since the time I lived in NYC. 😍
