The book “Practical Julia” contains many working examples in #physics #biology #statistics, and more.

I’ve never enjoyed scientific #programming more than after learning #julialang. From simulation to data visualization, it’s a joy to work with.

Many people learn a language by skimming its docs, diving in, and Googling when things don’t work. I’ve been guilty of this too, but it’s not the best approach. Better to get a solid foundation from a good book first.
