It's generally true that US comic book publishers have themselves to blame for not being in the same place as manga in Japan but fanboys are wrong about some finer details
The Comics code and the witch-hunt preceding it did kill some genres, but that was for a blip in comic book history years

The problem with having a bunch of cosplay fanboys who have absolutely no real world experience with true combat or crises to speak of is that self-created crises that make them a pariah are a bummer, man.

The problem with having a bunch of cosplay fanboys who have absolutely no real world experience with true combat or crises to speak of is that self-created crises that make them a pariah are a bummer, man.
