I've not seen one. The main pink birds I've seen here in UK are Long Tailed Tits, Collared Doves, Chaffies & Bullfinches. I know Jays also exist, but I've only seen them when on holiday in Italy.

It's really funny to think about how very specific aspects are first mentioned in the print works at the most non-specific of times
"Oh yeah the Celestials are first told to exist in SaBND because Reimu mentioned them when talking about the bullfinches she summoned"

And we saw three bullfinches. 😁

And it's still not raining. I think it's about four hours now.

It makes such a difference to my mood.

More blue skies and #birds from #AshlawncuttingLNR.
2 of the 3 Bullfinches seen in scrub near Ashlawn Rd bridge. Moments after the Buzzard was overhead, plenty of Redwing about still about in the Hawthorns. Good luck to those 'finches...we don't see them often.

Used to see finches-some the most beautiful🇬🇧birds I’d ever seen: Bullfinches. We’d see a pair yearly. Indescribably elegant. A few yrs back a disease swept thru that killed off nearly all finches inc Bullfinches💔they may’ve caught it as many did: fr/feeders. Took ours down. But we saw birds dying😢😔.

Nice theme for #BirdOfTheDay, today: #BackYardBirds. Here’s a pair of Bullfinches, a fairly regular winter & spring visitor to our #Northumberland garden. Remarkably, one of 73 species I’ve seen in/from my small, edge-of-town garden.

Home at last & the chilly, murky weather didn't keep us from a good 14k steps or more around the valley. Highlights were drake Goosander, a neat Siskin flock, a couple of Grey Partridge, 4 Red Kites, Chiffchaff & several Bullfinches too. Lovely 🙂

One good thing about Long Covid making me allergic to berries is that I can fully enjoy watching a pair of bullfinches stripping all the buds off the fruit bushes 😀🌱

Watercolour & watercolour pencils
Another no-sketch painting I did over the weekend. The watercolour pencils were great for adding some 🪶 details at the end.

Had a ride up to Woolston Eyes today adding some good birds to my green birding yearlist. Grey Partridge, RN Parakeet & Marsh Harrier the best of these. Also managed Tree Sparrows, Yellowhammers, 4+ Bullfinches & an Oystercatcher. #LowCarbonBirding #UKBirding

Not a huge thing but it actually is to me. After living for decades in my home, I have never seen bullfinches in the garden and this morning I wake up to find two in my cherry tree. Two!!

At least 200 Fieldfares, 3 Bullfinches & 1 Grey Wagtail too. The River Stour continues to flood the meadows and ditches at rural Godinton Park.
