In other words, respect for serious study in the humanities is such an alarmingly minority position, even among the monied elites, that protecting the humanities at elite institutions is very hard. One of my "big brothers" in European intellectual history no longer take students - no jobs for them.

Good news: HB 2304, which exempts condo buildings of up to 4 stories and 12 units from Washington’s strict condo liability regime, has passed the House! It moves on to the Senate.
If it passes there, it’ll be time to move on to the harder work of reforming liability for larger buildings.

I'm not going to expect any major changes on a similar level of Rayman Redemption. But if we get lots of QoL features like rebalanced difficulty, rewinds, and a way to find cages easily, along with extras like challenge modes and a museum, this would be the best official version of R1 of all time.
