yeah i mean my school was certainly not very lgbtq-friendly (there was a trans dude), but that mostly came from the kids rather than the faculty and this was before shit like GSAs were common

Even though I don’t work much with the regular ed students in my school I try to do any little thing I can to let our LGBTQ students know that I am a safe person without having to explicitly say it to them.
