This hypothetical, like the trolly problem, has no basis in reality. The actual choices we're given are things like kidnap people at night vs kidnap people during the day; remove trans people from civic life and have some sadz or be gleeful about it. The correct response to all of that is fuck you

Just in the recent past we have Tim Walz going on about how he thinks homan is deep down a great guy and of only they'd kidnap people at night things would be great. We have dem leadership tying themselves in knots to avoid saying "abolish ice" and instead talk about how officers need training
Are you happy with the punishment the Democrats are receiving now? Do you feel comfortable telling people grabbed off the streets by ICE & shuffled between filthy, overcrowded detention centers to break their will until they “self-deport” this was all necessary to teach Democrats about morality?

Am I the only person who hates this movie? I felt it's a missed opportunity to say something about authoritarianism. The first half of the movie I thought PTA was using satire in a thoughtful way (this dude There will be blood!), but by 3/4 in it turned out he was just doing a corny action movie
Finally got to see One Battle After Another, in a big Imax theater. My take [drum roll] ... the critical consensus is correct, it's really good! Shambolic Leo is my favorite Leo.
