One week and an emergency spay for pyometra later, and Cindy seems like she's doing much better. She just needs to put on weight. For a cat who was on the verge of starvation, she's shockingly picky. She has bougie tastes and loves people food, but doesn't want to eat wet cat food.

Got the skinniest rescue cat I've ever seen in yesterday. She must've been dumped because she's too friendly and too unafraid of being indoors. The poor thing is anemic and has an ulcer from starvation. But a day later she's already discovering toys and loves to be loved.

My mom bought this hideous bloody fangs cat bed and I'm kind of disappointed mama cat chose to keep her kittens in it even though it's a very practical shape.

Thought I was done with fosters for this season, but there are always more. Names tbd, but there are 3 kittens. Mom is only about 7 months old, so still a baby herself really.

I need everyone to see the angry eyebrows on this kitten I'm fostering. I think they'll fade over time, the fire is thinner where her whiskers are growing in, but it's the funniest thing.
