My mom bought this hideous bloody fangs cat bed and I'm kind of disappointed mama cat chose to keep her kittens in it even though it's a very practical shape.

Thought I was done with fosters for this season, but there are always more. Names tbd, but there are 3 kittens. Mom is only about 7 months old, so still a baby herself really.

I need everyone to see the angry eyebrows on this kitten I'm fostering. I think they'll fade over time, the fire is thinner where her whiskers are growing in, but it's the funniest thing.

My HS principal was named Mr. Dickoff. In hindsight, that was such an unbelievably confident career choice.
the name Richard Beater basically forces you to go by Dick just so people know you're in on the joke and not bothered by it. introduce yourself as like, Ricky Beater and it reeks of insecurity. if you go by your middle name people will find out eventually and come down on you like a fucking meteor
I was in the weeds and having an awful day as a server circa 2004 when my coworker said, "Hey, man. You gotta check out this credit card." That CC belonged to a standard-issue 50ish guy named Dick Beater. That moment still helps me.

The kittens are starting to get adopted. Macadamia went to her new home last night, Pecan is going tomorrow, and Walnut is going on Monday.

Look how much they've grown. These pictures are 5 weeks apart. (The kittens are 6 weeks old as of yesterday) Their eyes are starting to change color now, too.
