SCOTUS declined to hear Kim Davis case. This case was never a good one to shoot down marriage equality as a whole. It was a MAJOR over reach by the Alliance Defending Freedom to even try to frame it that way. Davis’case was about a religious refusal not the Constitutional right to marry. #momsky

Coming out should always be a choice, not a mandate. But forced-outing bills, laws that require teachers or schools to disclose a student’s LGBTQ+ identity without consent, take away that choice and put young people in harm’s way.

Mahmoud v. Taylor was an awful SCOTUS decision, an attack on the humanity of 🌈 families and on some of the basic premises of public education in a pluralistic society. But it’s not the end of the world or of inclusive education...
