Still in disbelief… last night, my local go-to BBQ restaurant was destroyed by a fire.😢 Family-owned, they have another location, but it’s ~30 mins away. Excellent smoked brisket, juicy St. Louis style ribs, smoked chicken/wings, tasty sides. Most of all, their IPAs on tap. I hope they rebuild.

Walked past an IPAS center with metal grates over the windows on the way home from school. Kids (5yos) ask why are those grates there. What do I say? So people don't smash the windows or throw in Molotov cocktails to kill these people that came here seeking safety? Wtf is wrong with the world.

the biggest change for me has been a new aversion to bitter things -- IPAs especially are much less appealing. But also it's a lot easier to decide that I'm done after one, or done midway through a drink.

I'd say people do both! Have heard people including those in beer industry complain about popularity of high abv IPAs

I prefer IPAs as ingredients, myself. Good in bread and stew, excellent for cooking sausages.

Sie sehen immer schön fancy und testwürdig aus, leider trinke ich mit wenigen Ausnahmen kein bier mehr. Und IPAs konnten mich irgendwie nie reizen, scheinen da sehr traditionalist zu sein 😅

Bringe nach Möglichkeit immer neue IPAs von Reisen mit (War letzte Woche nur mit Handgepäck in Budapest & konnte daher die ungarischen Biere nur direkt vor Ort probieren). Ansonsten gibt's craftbeertechnisch in Berlin tatsächlich sehr gut aufgestellte Spätis.

Yes, that’s the big change. Until about 5 years ago NA beer was awful. Now it’s not. The Athletic brand has several really good brews, belgiain, dark, Mexican style, IPAs. Total game changer for this alcoholic.

IPAs, india pale ales, were invented by brewers who put so much hops into the beer that the Englishmen in India didn't notice the beer rotted on the way to India from England. there is no sane reason to drink them anymore.

It’s amazing! They have a Japanese style dry with cherry blossom and one of my favorite hazy IPAs even among regular beer.
