to begin this, you would need to know who the copyright owner is. for the vast majority of works for which a copyright owner was once registered, the first copyright owner is no longer the copyright owner. for the vast majority of works total, there is no registered owner of the copyright.

these polaroids, which i believe to be out of copyright, are part of my training set for my own model. i do not know that there is any person on earth who knows their copyright status. i do not know that it is possible to discover what their copyright status is using any procedure known to man.
