Oh hey, it's been almost ten years since I painted the entire Rolling Thunder company from the old scenario pack. These were all lead.

warming up with a pilot and some extremely vibes-based perspective.
my default is usually a dry cockpit for my mechs but a thing i’m working on will involve some breathable goo type cockpits so at some point I should work out what that looks like for me

Arado 196 V1 (left) and V3 (right) prototypes at Travenmünde during trials. The two different float configurations both had advantages and there was little difference in their effect on the performance of the aircraft. A contract for the twin-float version was awarded.

Creature Concept: Shelob (from LOTR) Concept art of a bright green spider demon with black-striped legs and a pair of matching spiked arms. It has a short pair of horns hanging over its 3 pairs of eyes, and a thrashing spiked tongue that splashes yellow saliva. A jagged stinger sticks out from the tip of its abdomen, just above a silk gland ringed with jointed spinnerets. Art by @sarahdraws8.bsky.social. Creature Concept: Spine Wyrm (orange) A speculative evolution-inspired dragon creature. It has a spinosaurus-shaped head (for catching fish), a spinosaurus sail, and pebbly theropod scales. Rows of red, bulging veins run down its green neck and tail, and blue markings adorn its wings and tail tip. It upholds its body using its wings, which are tipped with 3-fingered hands. Its back feet are vestigial, flipper-like appendages that point backwards off its body. Its long neck is arched, drooping downwards in the middle, but curving up to support the head on the very end. Creature Concepts: Rage and Sorrow the Mechanical Harpies 2 robotic harpies on a grey background, with their names, 'Rage' and 'Sorrow,' beside them. Last time both went out in Q1 the most recent GTA was San Andreas and the PS3 wasn't out yet.
Alonso was a 1 time champion.
Lewis was just about to win GP2.
There were still open cockpits at Le Mans.

So apparently military helicopter cockpits range from 100-140 db, the servers I work on are smack in the middle of that. So… do we need to start getting those hearing protection/com systems for data centers? Cause it is impossible to communicate on the floor.

WW1, the availability of war surplus aircraft after it and the many flight schools that popped up, created an explosion of opportunity for female aviators.

E.g. the schools that didn't want take women quickly discovered that economically they needed to.
