My random thoughts on tariff impacts on UK based manufacturers. Jaguar Land Rover is in trouble. They don't have the volume to justify US production and the cars aren't premium enough to carry a price hike. Rolls, Bentley being expensive is a feature, volumes may dip but less price sensitive

Just remembered a thing that could be a good, very simple example of how Musk actually does 'efficiency and cost saving'
If people don't use stuff very often, or he doesn't personally like it, it's gone, doesn't matter how useful it is at the times you do use or need the things.

Of all the times the Lancer would decide to break, it had to pick the drive to Mom's to throw several overheating warnings (first for the transmission followed by going into limp mode, and then repeatedly for the engine until I was basically speed-limited by the temp gauge).
