Hi, I’m Alan.
In case you’ve missed my last 2 decades on social media, I’m a total car nerd, particularly about the Toyota Yaris, but I also cycle and enjoy hiking.
Trains, buses and public transport/transit are cool too and I think all those should be cleaner, more frequent and cheaper.

“Smothered” is a lovely word on a menu. “Smothered in barbecue sauce”.

Anyone have a contact number for Shopify? We’ve been trying for weeks to cancel their service. 2FA doesn’t work as the phone number we used is long defunct. They’re ignoring our emails.

I hate Windows reason 432: my work laptop has decided it wants to keep Caps Lock on, and there’s not a damned thing I can do about it. Restarting involves disconnecting from the vpn and my phone. 🤬

I'm trying a twist on the traditional lemon and sugar pancakes. I'm keeping the lemon but substituting the sugar for tonic water and the pancakes for gin.

There's a new Smith and Sniff out today because it's a Monday, but it's not a recording of last week's Glasgow live show because we messed up and it wasn't recorded. Shame, it was a fun show. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/s...

I had to have a sneaky cheat as I’m learning that I don’t know some parts of the world very well at all.
(If you asked me to point at this city on a map I could get close, but reverse engineering that is hard.)
