My Scion tC really was a damned good looking car, it was just a terrible example.

Ah yes. See also “Winters in the North East US before I bought the off-roader and winters after”.

This is it on Apple Maps, so there’s been a lot of add-on development in that time.

Yes, but more brutal!
@jasonnoiles.bsky.social has one in his MR-2.

Jim and I meant to go to the Red Ball Garage when we were cruising Manhattan in the Smart Crossblade, but we got a bit lost and never quite made it.
Still an awesome day though.

It’s the only mountain I’ve set out to climb and failed, mostly because it rained continuously for hours and I was literally soaked to my underpants.
I then drove up the Auto Road, and that was far more pleasant.

Real men store their luggage covers and window shades in their hall. 🙄
[Joke - I hate having to do this…]

I have this version of iOS on my iPad and the amount of “glass” rendering is distracting.
Show me the icons, not the distorted branches, please.

This is an incredible tale that helped kick start industrial safety.
It pisses me off that the tourist tours that drive past the site make no mention of it whatsoever and tell Civil War fairy tales instead.

Vogue Moomins. 🙄

Tonight’s hotel is pretty brutal. I love the details in, and condition of, the concrete.

Circumstances meant I let the Lexus run down to below 10 miles of range.
Yeah, I try not to do that too often as the numbers on the (non-motorway) pump get scary… 😬

Strong “Incredibles” vibes with today’s #WCOTD.

I love these, and almost bought one instead of my Lexus GX until worked out that red LED rear indicators would be a ballache to SVA and remembered that pick-ups make crap cars.
There were a few times I was glad of that enclosed luggage space.

Some of us just wanted the photo outside!

No longer there, but the Hilltop Mall that has replaced it has a sign that pays homage to this one.

Ah, there’s some good news today…
F-off, Timmy’s!

“Because Podcast Reasons” I find myself looking at the Tesla website, where they’re listing a car with 4,507 miles on the clock and registered in March this year as “New” and not “Certified Pre-Owned”.
I’m not quite sure that’s how it works…

My dad’s friend had one in Saudi. It was much cooler than the Blazers.

Useless fact du jour, it takes about 45 mins to swap out a Yaris headlamp unit when one of the built-in DRL strips has decided to frazzle itself.

Okay, Parcel Farce, I know that I missed your attempted delivery yesterday, but I think that taking it all the way from Perth back to Coventry before redelivery is “a bit much”. 🙄

Watching the newest Jet Lagged and one team just passed through (Bern) Wankdorf.
Coincidentally, it’s where Swiss Railways have some of their rather nice offices. 🙂
