I’ve used this function in a few cars now, all rentals.

Subaru was worst for impetuous braking when a car nips into one’s lane.

BMW was best, including the now aging i3, but the i4 EV was better.

Some cars can’t even figure out basic cruise control in mountainous areas…

I’ve had the misfortune of driving a SoCal RWD car with A/S to Colorado in the winter several times in the past. Definitely requires extra care. Passed a Subaru and a Cherokee in the ditch on the way back over the Wasatch Mountains on I-70.

Still have the car, now 17.
