Smol Matt in France, 1981, clearly more interested in the crosswalk stripes than the nearby Citroën GS.

Parents, have you talked to your kids about the dangers of the old forest?
The seductive lure of mossy forgotten tombs, and ancient magic sleeping uneasily in the shadows?

So I finished the main story of Z-A late last week. A few thoughts:

- Really enjoy the battle mechanics, but the inability to pause at key points is annoying.
- Story is kind of a disaster. 5 mins and I can improve all plot points.
- Lack of menace from "antagonists" neuters all tension.

My dad is still digitizing all his physical photos, and as part of that effort, by request, he put together a chronology of our trips while there (and one when we returned for good in 1994).

We were very blessed.

These are *exactly* the kinds of images that go through my head during Roy Batty's final monologue in Blade Runner.

"Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate..."
