I work in L&D, with a sideline in theatre. My interests include green issues, interesting old cars (mainly 60s, 70s, and 80s everyday stuff), SiFi, Theatre, and writing. I have an unfinished novel; who doesn't?

Some sound suggestions here.
[A recent exchange between @irmorus.bsky.social & @rhiggitt.bsky.social has moved me to retrieve my #IrishScienceSouvenirs thread from Twitter. Even though neither of them asked for it. I wrote it when I was in the middle of my first trip to #Ireland. 🇮🇪]

Fred Augis is on Bsky! He's worth following!
He's created tons of concept art that I've already shared (on Twitter then here), mainly for Prey (2017), but also Love, Death & Robots, Returnal, Dual Universe, and even Beyond Good & Evil 2. 😍

Am becoming functional again. Catching up on work, and will sort out more clips from the zombie musical soon too. I also need to sort out promo stuff for the album and the merch store. And design a new show tour pack for venues, and start contacting venues. Basically, my near future is adminy.

The Jensen Interceptor was brute force in motor car form, but the lesser-spotted FF was far more advanced. With its Ferguson Formula full-time four-wheel-drive, anti-lock brakes, and traction control, it preceded the Audi Quattro by 14 years. If you’d like to see the video, comment ‘JENSEN’ below.

Triumph was proud of the 2000's eye-catching Michelotti body, and its six-cylinder engine was one-up on the Rover. Like its rival, many features were ahead of their time - this ensured both cars had a long production life, ironically ending up as bedfellows under British Leyland.

This week is Road Safety Week & a chance to talk about Barbara Castle!

Barbara was Transport Minister for three years yet she was able to introduce the Breathalyzer, a proper integrated transport strategy & more!

This was done despite fierce opposition.

Bonjour la France, ceci est pour toi. 🇫🇷🥖

Are there any French comic book authors among my followers?

I'm working on an article about the status of comic book/graphic novel authors - both writers and illustrators - in France, and I'd love to hear their point of view.

Bluesky photographers. Any advice re selling prints? Anyone making Etsy work? Or other platforms. Full time gig possible?

I've had success in past with other online businesses which were very "heavy traffic" dependent. But I feel out of my depth.

Over saturated I guess and hard to be seen...

Exploring some electronic albums from the mid-00s that I'd missed and it's unnerving how not dated they sound, given dance music's breakneck evolution prior to that. My top tip, if you like St Etienne, Robyn and Todd Terje, is Sally Shapiro's album Disco Romance

This idea still amuses me greatly!
For thousands more years the mighty ships tore across the empty wastes of space and finally dived screaming on to the first planet they came across — which happened to be the Earth — where due to a terrible miscalculation of scale the entire battle fleet was accidentally swallowed by a small dog
